New Super Mario Bros 2 DLC to be added

For the first time ever in the history of a Mario game, there will be downloadable content!

In Super Mario Bros 2 for the 3DS, additional levels will be added to the game digitally after the games release. Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, stated today a very important message during the company’s Nintendo Direct conference. Nintendo wants its fans and supporters to know that this DLC was not something taken out of the game intially and forced to purchase and download after. This DLC development has not even begun yet. Meaning, once Nintendo completes the game and its main story, then they will begin to develop the DLC levels. This also means that pricing and release details for the DLC will be announced at a later date.
